Usui Reiki? Do You Want To Learn It?
Usui Reiki -- Usui Mikao was born 15 August 1865, and died 9 March 1926. He is the founder of Reiki, which is a form of spiritual practice. It is used as a complementary therapy for the treatment of physical, emotional, and mental diseases.
One legend says Usui in 1922 received the
gift of Reiki during a 21 day fasting at the holy Mount Kurama
near Kyoto. Since that day he has spread Reiki, which is now
recognized around the world both on a spiritual and scientific
level. Thus, he founded the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai and
initiated various students into Reiki Masters. Most of these
students came from the Japanese Armed Forces, among them his
successor Dr. Chujiro Hayashi. Go beyond Usui reiki

The recipe for a happy life according to Usui's legacy is that a person should work on what can be improved and otherwise accept life as it happens. The essence of this teaching is today known as the five concepts or five principles:
The secret art of inviting happiness
The miraculous medicine for all diseases:
At least for today, do not be angry.
Do not worry.
Do your work with appreciation.
Be kind to people. Be honest.
Every morning and evening, join your hands in meditation
and pray with your heart.
State in your mind and chant with your mouth.
The concept Reiki (spoken: Ree-Kii) of course comes from Japanese, and is the expression for the universal life energy, or chi.
I do not deny
that Usui could have channeled reiki all on his own, but reiki
is actually a very old cure, which was known way back, and
written in the old Sanskrit Sutras over 2500 years ago. It was
rediscovered, or channeled, according to legend, by Mikao Usui

The Golden Eye Grid
Reiki is given to oneself, or to others, by gently laying ones hand on or slightly above the body. The one who provides the Reiki-Energy, the giver, is the channel for the energy, and through the hand this energy is given to the receiver.
Reiki works at a physical level, and is relaxing and pleasant. On the emotional level it creates confidence in oneself, and in others. It helps to strengthen the zest for life, and to feel more balanced. And, finally, it works on the mental level too, helping you to cope with everyday stress better.
There are similar systems that are purer and more powerful like WhiteLight Self-Empowerment, and the Golden Eye Grid, among all the hundred of other reiki forms.
